Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps our residents do the things that they want and need to do through the use of daily activities. Our therapists enable patients to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability.

Our occupational therapy services include:

an evaluation where the client and occupational therapist determine the person’s goals
customized intervention to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals
an outcomes evaluation to ensure that the goals are being met and/or make changes to the plan.

Speech Therapy Services

Speech therapy helps those who have difficulty with slurred speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive function from a stroke, head injury, concussion, or neurological disease. The techniques used in this type of therapy are different for each patient. In your first appointment, we will identify the type of communication disorder you have, and then develop goals and an appropriate plan of care to improve your communication skills.
